The SHAPE Seminar is a class designed to help you figure out how God has wired and prepared you to serve. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to use your interests and abilities to make a difference in the world. We’ll also highlight volunteer roles here at CBG. One of the requirements for membership @ CBG is attending a Newcomers’ Class. You’ll meet our staff and hear what Church by the Glades is all about. The staff will discuss what an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ looks like, the importance of baptism, and what we believe about God, the Bible, the church and our mission as a body of believers. Childcare available for infants – 5th grade in the KidStuf Building.

The response to CBG’s Backpack Project has been amazing! We collected supplies to provide 1,000 backpacks to families in need.

Crown Financial Small Group Bible Studies meet for 10 weeks to help you learn how to apply God’s word to your money and possessions. God’s word has something to say about my finances? Absolutely! In fact, there are over 2,350 verses in the Bible about money. Crown Small Groups are confidential and you will never be asked to share your personal financial information. If you want to learn more about Crown Small Groups and decide if they are right for you, then come to one of the Orientations where you will learn how the Small Groups work and when they will be offered. Attending an Orientation is required in order to join a Crown Small Group. At the end of the Orientation, the days/times of the Small Groups will be announced, and you will have the option to join a Crown Small Group or not. Think of it as a free preview, so come check it out!
If you choose to join a Crown Small Group, the cost of the materials is $45 for an individual and $55 for a couple. If you can’t afford the cost upfront, we will work out an affordable payment plan for you.
For the weekend orientations, you may leave your children in KidStuf or their normal classroom. Childcare will NOT be available for the 7:00pm orientation on Monday, Sept. 13.

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. This weekly seminar and support group is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. Workbooks are $15.
DivorceCare 4 Kids is also available for your children (ages 5 thru 5th grade) throughout the DivorceCare weekly sessions.

Church by the Glades will be having Sunday evening services on July 25th, BUT they will be at The Fillmore Miami Beach (The Jackie Gleason Theater). We will be partnering with Fellowship Church, in Dallas, TX, for their SoBe Nights event. Join Pastor David Hughes & Pastor Ed Young for this live event benefiting Haiti.
