DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. This weekly seminar and support group is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. Workbooks are $15.

DivorceCare 4 Kids is also available for your children (ages 5 thru 5th grade) throughout the DivorceCare weekly sessions.

Plan to be part of CBG’s efforts to support families in our church and community who need a Thanksgiving dinner basket. You can help by donating non-perishable food items or a monetary gift ($35 donation will purchase a complete turkey dinner for a family of 4).

Nov. 7/8: Supply list and donation box available on the CBG patio
Nov. 14/15: Monetary donations and supplies collected on CBG patio
Nov. 21/22: Distribute Thanksgiving dinner baskets on CBG patio

SUGGESTED NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS:
Instant potatoes – 13-15 oz box
Canned yams/sweet potatoes
Cranberries – 16 oz can
Stuffing – 6 oz box
Marshmallows – 10.5 oz bag
Gravy – can
Green beans – can
Corn – can

Divorced? Separated? You don’t have to go through it alone. Find help, discover hope, and experience healing at DivorceCare. Childcare is provided. This 13-week class meets on Thursday night. Curriculum costs $15.

DivorceCare 4 Kids (DC4K):

This class is designed to help kids (grade 6-12) of divorced/separated parents find help, discover hope and experience healing. It will run the same time as the DivorceCare class in the Education Building.

Back to School Backpacks

Plan to be a part of CBG’s effort to support families in our church and community who need backpacks and school supplies for their children. Help provide 1,000+ filled backpacks to students by donating money or supplies, or by volunteering on one of our Backpack Teams.

July 25/26: Supply list and donation box available on the CBG patio
August 1/2 and 7/8: Monetary donations and supplies collected on CBG patio
August 16: Preparation Day in Fellowship Hall
August 17: Pack the Backpacks and begin deliveries to schools.
August 18: Complete all deliveries to schools (CBG recipients pick up their backpacks at church)
