Plan to be a part of CBG’s effort to support families in our church and community who need backpacks and school supplies for their children.  Help provide 1,000+ filled backpacks to students by donating money or supplies, or by volunteering on one of our Backpack Teams.

July 25/26: Supply list and donation box available on the CBG patio
August 1/2 and 7/8: Monetary donations and supplies collected on CBG patio
August 16: Preparation Day in Fellowship Hall
August 17: Pack the Backpacks and begin deliveries to schools.
August 18: Complete all deliveries to schools (CBG recipients pick up their backpacks at church)

Dedicating your child to Christ can be a memorable time for you and your family. As you consider taking this step, we encourage you to remember that baby dedication is a commitment by you to raise your child in a Christian home. Essentially, you are committing to show your child the love of God by having your own personal, growing relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. It is a recognition that your child is an incredible gift from God, cherished by God, and that you are looking forward to the day when your child will accept and make a personal commitment to Christ as Lord.

Want to be a part of the creative team for this special event?

“Theme out” a table with your favorite flavour whether it’s a color, movie, vacation spot, Broadway musical, activity or sport…you get the idea.  There will be 50 tables available for women to decorate.  We’ll provide the table, floor length white tablecloth and 8 chairs…you provide the table service for 8 and all of the creative elements for a girls’ night out!  Table decorating will take place on Thursday, May 7th  from 12 – 10pm.
