Looking for Sold Out, Impossible to Get Hannah Montana Tickets? Have You Tried Church?
Church by the Glades is giving away 4 tickets to the November 20, 2007 Hannah Montana concert at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, FL to two lucky winners for attending one of their six weekend services.
“Hannah Montana is all the craze right now,” said David Hughes, teaching Pastor at Church by the Glades. “I know this because I have a six year old daughter who is a big-time Hannah Montana fan,” Hughes added.
Hughes is correct in his conclusion. News agencies across America are reporting that Hannah Montana tickets are going for as much as four-times the face value online.
Two of the tickets will be given away on the weekend of October 27-28, 2007 while the other two tickets will be given away the following weekend, November 3-4, 2007. In order to win the tickets, you must fill out a registration card. The winners will be drawn at random.
Why is the church doing this? “Because people matter to God,” Hughes said. Pastor Hughes believes that his church has a message that the world needs to hear. Hughes says, “If it takes giving away something like tickets to a big concert for someone to come hear our message, we think it is well worth the investment.”
In addition, the church is in the midst of a series called “No Perfect People Allowed.” During one of the messages, the Church by the Glades Worship Band is going to cover Hannah’s hit song “Nobody’s Perfect” to drive the point home.
This is not a first for Hughes to use something like tickets to get people in the doors of his church. Last month, he gave away a free iPhone and $15 iTunes gift cards to first time guests to promote a series of teachings he was doing on “i: Living in a Self-Absorbed World.” In addition, the church used a billboard on I-595 that read “Bare Naked Truth on Sex.com” in February to peek people’s interest on that series of teaching.
The Church by the Glades is located on Atlantic Blvd. and Sawgrass Expressway in Coral Springs, FL. Their services are at 5:00 & 6:30pm on Saturday and 8:30, 9:45, 11:15am & 12:45pm on Sunday. They have 4,500 members with an average weekly attendance of about 3,000 people. In addition, nearly 800 children are involved with their KidStuf Children’s Ministry.
